With their album 'On the Road to Freedom' released on November 2nd, 1973, Alvin Lee and Mylon LeFevre perform live at the The Rainbow Rooms in London on November 30th, 1973 for an edition of The Midnight Special, accompanied by a band that includes Steve Winwood, Jim Capaldi, Mike Patto, Boz Burrell, Ian Wallace and Tim Hinkley. They play the album tracks "Rockin' Til the Sun Goes Down", "Carry My Load" and "The World is Changing".

I was enjoying a blast from the past via a UA-cam playlist of Aussie Hits of the '70 when Richard Clapton's 1975 hit came on and reminded me of the Digitech Trio arrangement I had done for electric guitar by concocting some soupy effects on my MOOER GE200 a while back. It's a song that brings back a flood of memories, and this is almost exactly how I want it to sound in a live solo performance.
